SHARE and PSN committees hold annual face-to-face meeting at Inter Pipeline

CIAC’s Safety Health Analysis Recognition and Exchange (SHARE) committee and Process Safety Network (PSN) held their annual face-to-face meeting in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta this October at the new Inter Pipeline Heartland Petrochemical Complex.

These meetings provide an opportunity for members to hear about cutting-edge safety tools. Researchers at the University of Alberta presented AI tools to analyze and identify leading indicators. There was also a presentation on best practices using cameras to monitor workers in remote confined spaces, and on the loss of trailer wheel sets.

Thank you to James Williams, Alicia Pope, Muddassir Penkar, and the rest of the team at Inter Pipeline for hosting an excellent meeting.

All CIAC members are eligible to have representatives sit on both committees. We look forward to seeing members at the next virtual committee meetings in November.
