Greg Moffatt promoted to Vice President, Policy and Corporate Secretary

CIAC is pleased to announce that Greg Moffatt, Senior Director, Business and Economics has been promoted to Vice President, Policy and Corporate Secretary for the association. 

Greg Moffatt joined CIAC in July 2016 and is the focal point for policy development and advocacy on policies effecting chemistry and plastics in Canada related to chemicals policy and health, climate change and air quality, transportation economics and regulatory issues, and business investment and competitiveness. He is also the Corporate Secretary and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the governance framework, the efficient administration and execution of Board meetings, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and implementing decisions made by the Board of Directors.  

Prior to joining CIAC, Greg held positions with Penn West, TransCanada, the University of Alberta, CN and the Government of Alberta. He has over 25 years of public affairs experience and worked extensively in all four western provinces, at the federal level, and in a number of U.S. states. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Alberta and BA in Political Science from the University of Calgary.
