April 30, the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) announced the winners of its Merit and Chair’s Awards, recognizing leaders in Canada’s chemistry industry.
The ceremony was held at a gala dinner at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec with delegates from the Good Chemistry 2019 conference and the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) Steering Committee.
Held May 1-2, Good Chemistry 2019 is the premier conference for those in the Canadian chemistry industry and its extended value chain featuring experts in industry, safety and sustainability sharing best practices and lessons learned while living the ethic and principles of Responsible Care®.
“This year was a stellar year for nominees. Our winners reflect all that Responsible Care stands for, always striving for continuous improvement and raising the bar in safety, sustainability and leadership in the chemistry sector,” said Bob Masterson, President and CEO of CIAC.
