“Through sharing best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement, CIAC members have worked hard to reduce the incidents of workplace injuries and illnesses,” said Jeff Stevens, Director, Responsible Care at CIAC. “We congratulate our 2021 winners’ commitment to health and safety in the workplace.”

Consistent with CIAC members’ roles as leaders in safety and occupational health, CIAC conducts the annual Safety and Health Incident Metrics (SHIM) survey which measures, tracks, and communicates health and safety trends. It is used by the SHARE Network to drive continuous improvement and provide a forum for members to share information and experience related to occupational health and safety. The SHARE Network awards are based on 2021 year-end health and safety data collected from CIAC members.
