CIAC and members meet MPPs at Ontario Chemistry and Plastics Day at Queen’s Park

On April 10, CIAC had the pleasure to meet with members of Ontario’s government to talk about how the Canadian chemistry and plastics manufacturing sectors are embarking on two simultaneous transformations – the transformation to a circular economy for plastics and the transformation to net-zero carbon chemistry production.

Getting regulatory and investment conditions right in Ontario will ensure the sector can attract the capital to renew and participate in these foundational transformations as well as create and retain high skilled, high paying jobs in the province.  CIAC and its members are committed to ensure that our collective efforts result in continued growth of our sector and to continue to make positive contributions to Ontario’s economy, its environment and the local communities where we operate.
