As Executive Vice President, Greg will have broad oversight on CIAC’s government relations and public affairs (Regional Directors, VP Policy, VP Plastics, Communications) and serve as the second in charge to the CEO. As Vice President, Policy, Isabelle will work with CIAC’s policy team to continue to deliver sound advice to governments on behalf of Members. She will also lead on international files.

Kara Edwards will return from maternity leave in 2024 to the role of Vice President Responsible Care®. This new position within the organization highlights CIAC’s and our Member’s focus on enhancing our environmental, social and governance (ESG) approach through increased awareness and understanding of Responsible Care and Operation Clean Sweep™ with our stakeholders and governments.

These changes are reflective of an effort to identify and develop internal candidates for leadership positions within the organization. They build off the recent hiring of Christa Seaman as Vice President of the Plastics Division and will allow Isabelle Des Chênes, who has been a key contributor to CIAC since she joined in 2017, to focus on internal staff development and advancement.
