Petrochemicals and chemistry manufacturing transform Canadian energy feedstocks into higher-value products that support jobs, exports, innovation, and long-term economic growth.

Canada’s chemistry and plastics industry depends on reliable infrastructure, predictable regulatory processes, and an integrated North American supply chain. As governments advance initiatives such as the Northern Shield Energy Corridor, CIAC looks forward to working collaboratively with governments, Indigenous partners, and industry to help ensure projects are developed responsibly, support economic growth, enhance North American value chains, and strengthen Canada’s position as a global leader in manufacturing, innovation, and responsible resource development.
