The purpose of this audit report is to summarize the degree of conformance with relevant criteria, as defined within this report, based on the evidence obtained during the audit of your organization. This audit report considers your organization’s policies, objectives, and continual improvement processes.
The scheduled 2016 verification of Shell Chemicals Canada was completed in June 2017. The delay was due to unforeseen circumstances unrelated to the verification process or the company’s commitment to Responsible Care. The verification consisted of a three day visit to the Scotford AB facility on May 30 th , 31 st and June 1st. and a two day visit to the Sarnia ON site on June 6 th and 21 st . The verification involved a site tour at each location, interviews with senior management, functional managers, wage roll employees and applicable representatives from the respective communities. This was the seventh verification of Shell Chemicals Canada. This verification focused on the presence of applicable Responsible Care management systems, areas of focus suggested by the company and current CIAC verification focus areas. The verification did not include a detailed review of the entire 152 Responsible Care Code elements.
This report documents the observations and conclusions of the independent verification team tasked with conducting a Responsible Care Verification of Jungbunzlauer Canada (JBLC). The verification was undertaken on March 16 and April 26 and 27, 2017. It included team visits to the company’s Canadian plant site located in Port Colborne, Ontario. The verification team also conducted interviews with other company personnel and external stakeholders. This was the fourth Responsible Care verification completed for Jungbunzlauer Canada. The last verification was completed in May 2014.
